Charles & Joy Johnson donated a large collection of rocks & lapidary equipment to the GSLAESC Scholarship Fund in Fall 2024.  Proceeds from all sales will go to the scholarship fund.

The auction of the lapidary equipment is complete.  $2421 was raised for the scholarship fund!  Thank you to all who bid or helped in other ways!

Most of the donated rocks will be sold through the Scholarship Boutique at our Treasures of the Earth show in August over the next several years.  Thank you to everyone who helped move them to their temporary home!

Bidding for the lapidary equipment has closed.  Bidders have been contacted.  All equipment has been paid for & picked up by the winning bidders.  $2421 was raised for the scholarship fund!

GSLAESC makes no guarantees about how well or how long these machines will work.  We believe that they worked the last time the donor tried to use them.  We have plugged them in and run them, but we have not tried to cut any rocks with them.
