The Greater Saint Louis Association of Earth Science Clubs Inc.

The Association was formed in 1988 and held its first board meeting in January 1989. The Association is made of six member clubs. The purposes of the Association are to:

  1. Promote interest in Geology and the Lapidary Art
  2. Encourage the collecting and display of rocks, minerals, fossils and gems.
  3. Encourage field trips of Geological, Mineralogical, Paleontology or Lapidary nature.
  4. Encourage greater interest and education in minerals, fossils and gems

We need some people from our clubs to help at the Welcome tent.  If you can take a break from the show for an hour or two, please contact Boneta in advance or tell the folks at the tent that you can help.  See the Facebook page for the Swap for more information, including Boneta's phone number. 
Scholarship Program Changes - Wednesday, May 15, 2013
The Association's Scholarship Program has been changed.  We are now able to give away more money in a year and more for each scholarship!  Please see details in the Scholarship section of this web site.
